Gang Gang - Gang Gang Cockatoo Original Linoprint
Gang Gang is an original handmade linoprint of a Gang Gang Cockatoo and has been made with multiple plates. Did you know that the Gang Gang Cockatoo is endangered partly because of its bill? While the Gang Gang is closely related to the Galah, it shares a bill with black cockatoos. The bill has less dexterity than a Galah's bill and requires the Gang Gang to use its foot to assist while eating and this limits the food source of Gang Gang and makes it more susceptible to habitat impact.
The print has been made with two hand-carved blocks which has then been inked up with artist-quality ink. Paper is then laid over the blocks and hand-burnished before the print is pulled. This print would be perfect for your favourite bird nerd!
