My creative practice is an exploration of the world around me, translated onto paper through the meticulous art of printmaking. I find beauty in simple things, from rambling nasturtium to cheeky cockatoos.
Human made
Now more than ever, handmade art matters. In a world flooded with AI-generated content, there's something irreplaceable about work created by human hands and human vision. When you choose handmade, you're choosing authenticity, intention, and soul. You're supporting a real person who pours their creativity into their craft.
Small and sustainable
Sustainable printmaking starts with better choices.
Rowan believe's in the power of small batch production. Every print is made with intention, using environmentally responsible materials that respect both craft and planet. Studio clean up techniques work towards maintaining clean waterways, paper waste is minimised and recycled or reused wherever possible.
Quality over quantity is key. When you choose limited edition or small run artworks, you're choosing pieces made to last, not mass-produced items destined for landfill.
Art is a need
Beauty nourishes the soul. Art on our walls reminds us that life is more than the everyday—it's about colour, meaning, and the stories we choose to surround ourselves with.
Likewise, creating and expressing ourselves through art is not just a luxury, but is a need. Whether you're painting, designing, crafting, or simply curating the spaces we inhabit, the freedom to create connects us to what makes us feel alive.
