Gel printing and block printing are fun ways to make layered prints and textured paper but what do you we do with all that paper? Collage of course!
Collage is a stress-free way to explore colour, shape, texture and composition. In this class we will create our own colourful and textured papers using our gel plates before tearing and cutting shapes to create a still life composition that you can take home.
No previous experience required. All materials provided. Children are welcome.

Rowan is committed to slow art and appreciates the joy and satisfaction that comes with working by hand. Rowan prints all of her original linoprints in the front sunroom of her house in Lewisham, Sydney. It is a small space (no room for a big press), but a happy and productive one, proving that you don't need a lot of room to make beautiful art.
