Flora
Flora is a limited edition print (edition of 100 only). It was originally designed and printed in honour of International Women's Day 2023.
It is made with one large hand carved block which took many hours to carve. The torso is illustrated with many different flowers. The print was made using high quality oil-based relief printing ink and archival Hereford paper.
Single Plate Lino Print
A single plate print is the most simple method of linoprinting, where one carved block is inked up in a single colour and printed, with any additional colours either hand-painted in afterwards or added using smaller individual stamps.
Meet the Artist
Rowan Sivyer is an Australian printmaker who is mostly inspired by native flora and fauna, patterns and food. She creates in a home-based studio in the vibrant Inner West of Sydney. Rowan is compelled to create daily, printing and carving most days.
