A Panoply of Spotted Pardalotes
'A Panoply of Spotted Pardalotes' is an original linocut print. It was designed after the artist visited the Canberra Botanic Gardens and were spellbound by these little birds.
This is made with multiple print plates over a number of days. The artist uses rich oil-based relief inks and acid-free paper.
This is a limited edition of 50.

Multi-Plate Lino Print
Multi-plate printing is where each colour in a design gets its own separately carved block, all printed on top of each other in sequence to build up the final image. It requires careful registration to make sure everything lines up.
