This set of handmade stamps include a slice of watermelon, a seed, a couple of cherries, a strawberry and a citrus wedge stamp.
These stamps are so versatile. I use mine to create beautiful greeting cards, gift tags and wrapping paper. I have also used them in my art journal. You can also use them with fabric inks to decorate tea towels, customise tote bags or create beautiful quilting fabric.
All of my stamps are made of an easy-carve rubber. The rubber is durable and, if looked after well, should not crack or crumble. The stamp comes unmounted. The rubber is a quarter inch thick and can be held comfortably to stamp with.
If you clean your stamps between use (I do not bother myself), please DO NOT SCRUB as this may damage the fine lines of the stamp. I test every stamp after carving. I use black archival ink and this will colour the stamp. This should not interfere with future stamp ink or paint that you use. If this bothers you, the ink can be cleaned off with light vegetable oil. If you use water-based ink, you can gently clean your stamps with water and a little soap.
