Butter is better - Food Illustration Linoprint

Regular price $50.00

Butter is Better started as a fun play on colour and ended as a trip down memory lane. In my family these days, we love butter but don't have a butter dish. I do remember that my granny had one on her kitchen bench - NZ is pretty cold most of the time so the butter was usually only a bit softer than it was in the fridge! The real memory is in the bone-handled knife that was a staple in all Kiwi kitchens (and Australian kitchens too I've been told) but are not seen as often anymore.

This print has been made with a combined jig saw method, a top-down printing method and hand shading once the print is dry. Size: A5 (14.8 x 21 cm)
